It a fit of poverty, I decided to make gifts by dressing up some regular products with Simpsons characters, and try to use the "spoof" products created on the show.

All characters are of course copyright The Simpsons.

Some of the text got a little cut off, but you should be able to read most of it when you download it.

Sadly due to a computer disaster I lost the template files for most of these.

how did you get the labels to adhere to the cans? What KIND of paper did you use & what size are the labels (in pixels...please?) I am doing a final project for my digital illustration class this semester...one of the three I have to do is an energy drink. We are required to print labels for each product we create & put it on the object (box, can, shirt, etc....) then also mount it on a picture board (the label that we use on our object...one must be a cylindrical object, one must be a boxed item, and then the other is of our choosing!! I love the Adobe Illustrator program, as well as Flash & Photoshop!!!

I totally forget... I did it in 2006!

You might try setting your dimensions using mm or cm rather than pixels. Then just measure the object that you want to dress then use plenty of bleed so there will be some overlap to play with.

As for the hard copy, it was totally ghetto laserprinter + clear tape.

Thanks! There was so much detail on them... I've found a couple of the layouts (nuts n' gum, and the truckers choice) but the rest have been lost.

I had even made a "Children's chewable morphine" one as well...
